· The presence of the Holy Spirit is about me receiving power to be evidence & witness.
· It is by the power & name of Jesus Christ!
· In unity is strength, power, the ability to make things happen.
· Pray for the presence of the Holy Spirit to get courage & boldness.
· I have a testimony! I am not afraid! The power of God that raised Jesus raised me up too!
· The same Jesus and the power of his resurrection is available today!
· The power of the resurrection is power to be who God intended me to be. Great grace follows this power.
· Power to the people!

PRAYER OF GRATITUDE:
Awesome and amazing God, thank you for this moment. Thank you for your son, Jesus Christ, who demonstrated the greatness of your power to raise, wake, stand or grow anyone up from any situation by faith. We thank you in advance for the great grace that will follow us when we activate this power in our lives. We are grateful for these words of action and accountability. Bless your messenger in every way possible. May the same Jesus who you raised from the dead, and the marvelous presence of your Holy Spirit continue to rest, rule and abide in and with us today, tomorrow and forever. · A foreign land = sin, sickness, stress, strife, discord, doubt, fear, violence.
· What is the Lord’s song? Liberty, good news, truth, health, healing, wholeness, harmony, prosperity, faith, love, grace, mercy, the Lord’s favor.
· How can we sing the Lord’s song? By the presence of the spirit of God.
· We still can & will sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land! Walk by faith, not by sight.
· Liberty! We have to sing out in harmony.
· Now is the time! Let freedom ring!

PRAYER OF GRATITUDE: Creative and Perfecting God, thank you for this moment. Thank you for freeing us from the bondage of sin through the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Help us to keep our eyes on the prize of the gospel – healing, harmony, and wholeness. May the Lord’s songs rise up in us whenever we face doubt, discord, or discrimination. We open up our mouths and proclaim liberty and release from all fear. We give thanks for your messenger Pastor Evans, and for this encouraging and empowering word. God we love you and continue to put you first in everything. May we never forget to give you all praise, glory, and honor. In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN.

· People can change, no matter how bad/difficult their situation is.
· In Jesus, the resurrection of the dead is real.
· God will always find a way to raise up God’s word.
· We can be raised from the dead and anything else by the power of God’s Holy Spirit and the name of Jesus. Nothing is impossible with God! All things are possible with God!
· I can change through the power, authority & knowledge of the Holy Spirit dwelling in my life.
· The spirit of God leads me to be excellent, extraordinary & exceptional. See the difference!
· God can raise me up from anything! Thank you God!

Prayer of Gratitude:
Gracious and Giving God, thank you for this moment. Thank you for the everlasting gift of your Holy Spirit. Continue to pour out your spirit on our Pastor, our church, and each and every one of us. Raise up our praise and worship God! Raise up our devotion and dedication to your word. Raise up our faithfulness and our focus on serving your people. Send your spirit to shake us out of graves of indifference, indecision, and doubt. We thank you in advance for we are a changed people, because nothing is impossible when your spirit abides within us. · God has gifted me to raise God up, NOT man.
· The point & purpose of the church is Christ and the cross.
· It is important to be spiritual!
· I must learn & practice knowing the difference between the lamp & the light. The lamp (me) is not the light, Jesus is the light! We are all lamps (limited). The lamp brings the light (unlimited).
· I am a lamp. I know the facts. God is the light. God knows the truth.
· Don’t mistake the lamp for the light!
· Build your faith on Jesus, the light of the world.

Prayer of Gratitude:
God of mercy, God of light, thank you for this moment. Thank you for shining your light on us, even in the midst of such a troubled world. Continue to illuminate the dark spaces of our lives. Help us to keep our lamps filled with the oil of the spirit of God, ready to take your light with us wherever we go. We are grateful for the plain and simple truth of your word, and for the brilliance and obedience of your messenger, our Pastor. May we continue to use our gifts to serve others and to raise your name high, giving you, all the praise, honor, and worship you are due. We love you, we adore you, and we are clear; our hope and faith are built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. In His name we pray, AMEN.

· God’s Holy Spirit will cause me to be other-centered.
· Keep being on fire for God with your gifts.
· God’s Holy Spirit does not give me a spirit of fear, uncertainty or doubt.
· The spirit of God provides 3 things – Power, Love, Self disciple/Self control
· POWER – the gifts, abilities, capabilities, talents, gift of the faithfulness of God. God’s Holy Spirit will give me the power to deal with whatever the enemy sends my way.
· LOVE – the presence of God’s Holy Spirit, compassion & courage for others, commitment to hang in there, not give up
· SELF DISCIPLINE/SELF CONTROL- God’s Holy Spirit is truth. God always deals in truth. Truth brings liberation. Liberation is the focus of God’s Holy Spirit.

Wonderful and Miraculous God, thank you for this moment. Thank you for your grace, your mercy, and your word for us today. Bless your messenger, our pastor. Provide him with all he needs and desires to continue to minister in truth and excellence. God, we fully embrace your spirit of power, love, and self-discipline in every area of our lives. Right now, as we stir up every gift you have placed inside of us, we move forward without fear or doubt. We will run and tell all we can that we are not ashamed of the Good News of your Holy Spirit. · Liberation is the primary, essential, priority of the work of the Holy Spirit. I AM FREE!
· The Holy Spirit makes me other-centered, blesses me so I can be a blessing to someone else.
· The Holy Spirit sends me out to EXEMPLIFY the kingdom of God – be an example, evidence, a witness.
· The Holy Spirit sends me out to MULTIPLY the kingdom of God.
· The Holy Spirit sends me out to EDIFY the kingdom of God – build others up & win souls for Christ.
· The Holy Spirit sends me out to FORTIFY the kingdom of God – strengthen others.
· The Holy Spirit sends me out to MAGNIFY the kingdom of God – lift up the name of Jesus.

Gracious and giving God, we thank you for this moment. Thank you for leading us, guiding us, comforting us, protecting us and keeping us safe as a church without walls. We are grateful for our Pastor, your chosen messenger, and for this life-changing message. We pray for a deeper and broader understanding and embodiment of your Holy Spirit. May we continue to do the work necessary to accomplish all the great things you have called each one of us to do. · Pentecost: 50 days after Jesus’ resurrection, the 7th Sunday after Jesus’ resurrection.
· Acts 2:1 – one accord, unity, harmony, working together & supporting each other. Unity requires work/effort.
· Harmony = play my role! Ordinary people can learn how to successfully work together.
· Acts 2:2 – Suddenly comes when I am persistent, consistent, & intentional.
· Acts 2:3 – Fire = fuel, force, energy, zeal, passion, conviction, courage. Fire causes me to move. Be fired up for God!
· Acts 2:4 – Grow God’s spirit in my life.
· God’s Holy Spirit is connected to God speaking. Spirit moves, God speaks. The Holy Spirit will give me power to be God’s witness & make me glad to be chosen.

Prayer of Gratitude:
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, thank you for this moment. Thank you for the outpouring of your spirit on all flesh on this historic day. We pray for unity and harmony in our church body and in the world. We look forward to more and more, suddenly in our lives, as we endeavor to work and support each other right here and right now. We are grateful for your preached word, which provides us with the fire we need to be doers and not simply hearers. Grow us as your people God. Grow us as your church and grow us as faithful servants who answer your call with enthusiasm, courage, and gladness. God, we love and adore you, and we give your name alone the highest praise. Holy Spirit you are welcome in this place! Fall fresh on us today! In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN.

– To access God’s when, I must focus & walk by faith.

– My faith/behavior/trust should be real, right here, right now, in the moment.
– God’s Holy Spirit is God’s presence, purpose, perspective, power, priority, proof in my life. When the Holy Spirit comes upon me, I will know it, I will be different! I will represent & bring the Holy Spirit with me.

PRAYER OF GRATITUDE
Sovereign God, thank you for this moment. Thank you for your grace and your mercy that bind us together as a household of faith. We are so grateful that your Holy Spirit leads us, guides us, teaches us, and keeps us. God, help us to know who you are and why you are, so we have no reason to worry about when you are. Continue to restore and refresh our Pastor, your anointed and appointed messenger. Watch over your word to perform it. May we grow in love toward each other, and in favor with you. In Jesus’ name we gather, and in Jesus’ name we consider our prayer complete. AMEN.

Sermon Highlights:

· Do I love God?
· What does it mean to love God? What does loving God look like? How do I know I am loving God?
· Loving God means I am feeding, contributing to, serving, supporting God’s sheep/people. I am building & giving to God’s kingdom.
· It is easy to say I love God, but saying I love God is NOT enough! What’s the next step?
· My love for God is revealed & reflected in my feeding of God’s sheep.
· How am I feeding God’s sheep? How am I loving God? Have I reached out to someone during this pandemic? Am I waiting for someone to feed me?
· I am ultimately fed by feeding others. Sheep who love God feed each other. That’s how they are mutually satisfied.
· God says feed my sheep! Help somebody! Put my love into action!

Prayer of Gratitude:
Oh, Happy Day! Thank you for this moment God. We are grateful for your loving kindness, care and compassion toward us. Thank you for words of examination and encouragement to show our love by taking care of your people. Help us to reach out to others more, to be people of action and activity in your kingdom. Bless your messenger God, as he demonstrates his love for you through his generous sowing of your word into our lives. Keep us encouraged and energized to serve your kingdom using the gifts and talents you have provided us with. We love you with not only our words, but with our deeds. We give you all the praise, all the honor, and all the glory, and we look forward to sustaining and strengthening your kingdom no matter what is happening in the world. In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN.
