Connecting

As has been repeatedly said, we cannot look at ourselves as spectators watching what God is doing, but rather we must view ourselves as actors upon the stage, who are being observed by both those in heaven as well as those on the earth.

Beyond the Walls Ministry

Beyond the Walls Ministry is our opportunity to reach back to God’s people who have been incarcerated and are in a process of reconciliation. Your gift of compassion is the perfect way to serve God by participating in worship with our brothers and sisters behind the walls.

Besides a willing heart, there are only 2 requirements to visit the prison with the Prison Ministry: a completed and approved application AND orientation.

Church Information Center

Our Mission

Our mission and goal is to provide members and visitors with the appreciated service of accurate knowledge about information and events here at the church. We strive to deliver excellent service along with a warm pleasant experience to all members and visitors.

Our Purpose

The Church Information Center personnel are a source of information for all members and guests concerning all Morning Star information and financial transactions concerning sales throughout the church. These ministry members are likely to know the answers to questions or can find the answer to questions when asked. This team works to provide a pleasant experience and excellent service to our members and visitors through the information we impart, and the personal attention we give to each person we encounter.

New Members

OUR MISSION:

To amplify the number of new members planted in a ministry and living a promise-driven life.

ABOUT US:

The New Members Ministry was created to provide each new member with lessons based on the teachings of Senior Pastor Therman E. Evans, MD, PhD. We instruct new members in an environment that promotes learning and spiritual growth. Each new member is provided a copy of MSCCC’s church etiquette handbook, and we’re responsible for communicating all relevant information about MSCCC Ministries.

New Members orientation is held once a month and is a requirement for all new members before officially becoming members of the church. Upon completing of orientation, new members will receive the Right Hand of Fellowship along with a certificate of completion.

Website

OUR MISSION:

To take the STAR experience global.

OUR PURPOSE:

To have the Morning Star website be a true reflection of “The Greatest Church on Earth.”

Matthew 28:18-20
V. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. V. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, V. 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (NIV)

ABOUT US:

The Website team works closely with Morning Star ministries in order to share the Morning Star experience with the world. We are a dedicated team with one agenda; to take the purpose, mission and vision global. We have been visited by 50 countries: Brazil, Germany, India, Japan, Kenya, Romania and Ireland, just to name a few.

Aside from our online contribution, we also extend our talents, expertise and skills by performing random Acts of Kindness in various counties in New Jersey. From giveaways to volunteering, the website ministry is an active, fun and hard-working group that believes in tithing, fellowship and being of service to others.

We are continually improving the Morning Star website and would appreciate your comments and suggestions!
